Top day!

Post by Beamish »

What a great day for a ride out 8) Just stuck a new Pilot Sport on the rear yesterday and scrubbed it in ready for today. Must have been 19-20 degrees today and the tyres felt sticky as new born baby poo :D, took a blast along a tried and tested road that you can stretch yer legs on a bit (if yer know what I mean  ). Everthing just gelled lets hope there are many more days like it round the corner.

I thought it was just a twin thing but the 4 has stripped the rear in 1200 miles. The guy that changed the tyre said I quote " If you get over 1500 miles on a sports tyre you should fit bloody touring rubber as you obviously dont need soft tyres "
I tend to agree 8)

Sounds like you had fun Jim.

Going to have to check out other shoeing options for mine too I think.

Only put new tyres on in April and rear is barely legal on return from Manx. 8O

Wish I'd recorded mileage when I replaced it then I'd know for sure how many miles it's done, but with our weather so far this year it ain't done many :?

It'd make a good track tyre though
