Hi, just thought I'd say a quick hello. I have been viewing this site for a few months now and have to say that everyone seems really friendly and are up for a bit of a giggle. I look forward to being a regular contribitor.

I have had my ' Storm for around 2 years now and to be honest it has only been the last 2 months or so that I have really began to enjoy it  This only because I was unsure of riding a twin - it just didn't seem fun after my previous Kwacka ZX6R - but now the penny has seemed to drop and I just love the effortless torque and power - I would just like a little more now lol.

My bike is an 03 and on a private plate. I bought it with only 2500 miles on it and it has covered 4500 only now, so it's not really run in yet lol. It has quite a few cosmetic mods that both myself and the previous owner ( my brother in law ) have fitted. Braided front and rear brake lines, chrome powdercoated wheels, light tinted double bubble screen, uprated headlight, LED indicators, idiot light ( gear display ), LED rear light - this was a one off, and full carbon lower fairing - again, a complete one off. A recent purchase of a pair of Remus race cans to deafen everyone is the one mod I am still unsure of though. And most importantly it is in the best colour - blue :D I am waiting for the reaction lol. I will of course try and post some pics though I am sure I will need some help doing this as I'm a complete PC numpty.

Welcome mate, I'm hoping you're lucky and it's proper blue, like mine

Hi matey, welcome to the forum.

Love the signature

At least it's not Teal!

As for the pipes - they need a good set of loud cans - the OEM ones stifle the engine.

Sounds like some good mods, especially like the sound of the fairing lowers in carbon.

Graeme.

I agree, the bike does seem to have a bit more power with the Remus cans, not sure how much more , prob about another 5 / 6 bhp I suppose. I am sure the bike revs harder.
