Now that would have been funny
but not in a good way

I've had a parcel waiting for collection all week. Finally I got to the post office Sat morning wondering what the hell it was. After 30 minutes waiting in a queue the girl finally brings the package out and it turn out to be some free bloody light bulbs from British Gas the postie couldn't be bothered to shove through the letterbox 8O
What a waste of time

I ordered a guitar - not a cheap one but a Gibson Les Paul - waited for the delivery and nothing contacted post office and it had been signed for! 8O

Argued it and turns out the delivery driver signed for it on my behalf and had left it in a shed. I didn't have a shed nor did my immediate neighbours so placed a claim and won my money back.

Still dissapointed as ddn't have my limited edition guitar and couldn't get another, when about 3 months later a neighbour 10 doors down knocked saying he had a package for me. Puzzled what it was went to his and he'd found it in his shed :D One free guitar only about 4 months late 8)

Don't worry Jim. I'm not that warped.
Imagine having a new blade left by the back door only to have the bin men pick it up and then it get eaten by mice before you can get it back!
Now that's just sick! 8O
