6.30 last night car frozen, 7ish the gritter passed the house.
This morning light dusting (sea level) headed up to the roof I am working on and it was a winter wonderland 4" deep, and just made it up the hill.
Sat for an hour in zero visibility and checked out the roof, ice all over the scaffold battens, so headed (slid) back down the hill and spent the rest of the day doing paperwork.
Don't usually expect to be snowed off this early in the year, also, (for the "Autumn Watchers" amongst us) when heading off this morning I spotted 2 Housemartins making their way South along the shore of the firth. They are normally gone from this part of the world by the end of September or the first week in October.
2.4 degrees outside as I type.

Cheers

Kaz, Alness, is just a few miles along the road from me.

What a difference a day makes, sunshine, clear sky but still cold.

Cheers

Yes.
There was snow in Valencia, and loads of places in Spain, the week afetr the MotGP.

And it was eight inches deep in Andorra on the way back.

SO whoever thought that a ride out to a GP was great way of extending the summer can EAT MY XXKZVDXXZXXXX!!
(and I know who you are....)
