Thanks Chris,

I'm on my 2nd firestrom & never new there was a group on the net.

I'm in brighton & ride out all over the place & i've only ever seen two other firestorms about.

On the original subject, I'm a joiner and I'm still training. My boss gets his work through word of mouth and most of it through builder "mates". We specialise in staircases.
We made a staircase only to find that they'd moved the trimmer due to the plans being wrong and they decided not to tell us. Then we made it again. They gave us wrong floor height so we made it again. They then asked for more cupboards to be made and when the extra cost for only the cupboards was mentioned the customer complained expecting it to be free as WE made the job late.
If they are really mates why are they blaming us for the mistakes which are obviously not our fault.
Blood customers are a pain. It's always "somebody elses fault" of course
oh well back to my wine and ice cream :)
