wombles ME!!

Lucky there won't be "Roses in the Road" as a reminder to the kids lunacy...

Keep Dave on the Co-Codamols, they work wonders, Dichlophenac if he's offered it helps keep the inflamation down too (not on a full stomach, heartburn city!)

You'll jut have to spoil him till he gets better - I hear these things mean up to 5 years of care - sex is good Physio....

<Dave, I've done my best for you mate  >

Hope the decal is on the up as he's well underway with my belly pan. I even did some of the fine sanding myself today ...

Co-Co's and Dichlos are a classic mix - been on them 4 years now - the only problem is I can get proper, old fashioned, staggering pissed on just 3 pints - yup 3 pints - and I'm done for. GAYYY! Lol............

both parties lucky to survive that one tbh looking at the wreckage.

i think you can start looking for a new car lol, you wont be getting that one back!
hopefully the scrote loses his license for reckless driving / riding.
keep hounding plod and get him off the road before he kills someone.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

I get hammered on 3 pints without the dichlos :) Ask Pete L :) He turned me into a hardened drinker on the trip recently, i could drink 4 pints and not fall over, couldnt speak though :)
All it takes is a little practice

Tracy Said

No, love.
If he's been milking it he'd have had none left for you....

Hey Tracy, Only just picked up this ..Bloody Hell your man was lucky he wasn't wearing the front end of a
motorcycle, Wishing him a quick recovery...and don't forget to take a breather for yourself too,I know it's shaken
you as well . As for the teenager well I'll leave it to others to comment, if they haven't already.
Regards ChrisC.

Really sorry too hear about this Tracy. Looking at the state of both vehicles it's amazing there were no fatalities thank goodness.

Wishing Dave a speedy recovery,

Chris.

Timbo wrote:JESUS!!! They are lucky to both be alive looking at the damage. That is a bad 'un, the lad on the bike must have been shifting. He was doing a min of 80mph and Dave measured the road y'day and the lad rode for over 200ft on the wrong side of the road n a straight stretch too so who knows what he thought he was doing!
How are they both doing? Dave back behind the wheel today, limping but at least walking without crutches and said he doesn't think he can get his bike boots on for a few days..He's doing remarkably well considering. Must have a guardian angel looking after him is all I can say.

Lad on bike is being transferred to Edinburgh Hosp to have his arms rebuilt. That was what we were informed today by someone who knows the family. It made todays paper and said "when the bike hit the car" and a local councillor quoted saying "There was no reason for it etc as on a straight stretch of road" etc

Want the lad on the bike to recover so he can be banned for riding like a tw*t! This sort of thing taints the reputation of all bikers, one bad apple (wish it was only one).
Agreed!

Timbo wrote:Good that Dave is back up and about, he was very lucky.

As for the lad, i really do hope he makes a full recovery, if not for his sake then for his family. So they can ground him for the rest of his natch and make him clean the dishes/garage/cars for life!

200 metres on wrong side of the road, maybe he had a problem? Assume they did alcohol/drug tests? I would have thought they'd do that when he was in rescuss etc Was he looking at Dave before he hit him? Suicide? Police think he may have had target fixation, although I did say to Dave "do you think he was trying to kill himself? Dave did say the thought crossed his mind but as you say, easier ways of doing it than that! It does happen although it is usually pissed off tube train drivers, not bikers.
On a good note,my bellypan is coming on a treat. Loss adjuster been out and told Dave he was actioning an amount of loss (to incl his He-Man dual controls, roof top sign/signage on the car etc etc) a few hundred more than Dave paid for his little learner car when he bought it, so that's ok  . Have to send solicitors pictures and a list of all Daves injuries etc. I would have thought the laddo won't be able to make a claim for injuries if the accident was his fault. I think if you are injured due to the negligence of the other party etc, then your solicitors make your claim against their ins co etc so with the biker being at fault, he won't be able to make a claim for his injuries. I think it will be along time before he is ever back behind a wheel, be it 2 or 4. I think his parents should hope he gets a ban at the least before he kills someone .
