You can do the linkages using the Abba stand, you just can't remove the swingarm without adapting it to fit on the engine mount. Oh and don't bother with the swingarm removal kit, cause it don't work on the storm. As I found out after buying one 2nd hand from the Bay of nightmares.

I had no intention of removing the swingarm tbh, just the shock linkages. Piece of cake to be honest, although there were times another pair of hands would've made it easier.

Argh you did not remove the Swingarm. I thought the swingarm had to be removed to do the linkages. My mistake  That's handy to know I can do the linkages without removing!

Cheers Kev. It was one of your threads that taught me that. The one that explains about the conversion for engine mount attachment. I would like to do that for mine one day. It will also pivot better to work on the front end.

Did you give it all a good clean up while you where down there Lee, maybe a coat of paint. Or just re-grease?

Might have to do mine soon if it's that easy, check wear and tear and for any cracks appearing. I would also like to put some grease nipples in as well.

TBH I was going to give it a good cleaning, but found that I was out of wd40 or anything else to degrease whatever, so I just pulled the linkages and shock out and gave it the once over. Bike is in really good order anyway, so it wasnt too much of a mess down there. Had me thinking that I'd done half a job then, when you said about the swinger. If you do have a pop at them, it helps if you have a second pair of hands around, one person each side of the bike. Some of the bolts were pretty damn tight, and you need to get to both sides at once to undo them. Tip...Chock the back wheel before undoing anything. I slid some old wood under the tyre so the wheel didnt drop any more. On refitting, everything lined up spot on.
