Well, after a lot of faffing about trying to get the f*cking thing running I decided to give up and just put it back together until next weekend.... So here we are....I'm still waiting for few parts to come back from spraying so not quite finished but getting close

If I wanted something with more power I wouldn't have bought the bike, I'd have bought a TL etc Think this could possibly the way I go next time....

It does what I need it to do, and I'm sure it wont be too much of a problem especially seeing as tho I've removed the front fairing now (can anybody say WIND!!! )

Out of interest, there does seem to be a alot more length of pipes to can compared to the system I have, could this not have caused a bit of a problem with the HP figures?

Well no pictures just a bit of a report...

Finally got a few things buttoned up, tightened this and that etc etc

...and the best bit, managed to get out for a ride. I thought that the old mans 600 Bandit I had a go on at the weekend was nippy, but obv I had forgotten the bottom end grunt the old girl has

The good points to note are that is a hell of a lot more comfortable now and an added bonus is that the front end is even lighter than it ever was before think it could quite easily end up being a unicycle.

Only thing I can complain about at the min is the fact it's cutting out at low revs and a serious lack of seat time. I'll give it a good once over at the weekend and see if it is something simple like the idle control knob under the tank or something that requires a bit more attention. It might even need re-jetting with the new exhaust etc, but, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Any suggestions on this one are more than welcome

A bit of use would't do it any harm matey but mayb a little twist on the idle knob for now but you don't want it ticking over to high, if it has to tick over at fairly high revs it will probably need a dynojet kit or simular or at least a good strp and clean of the carbs.

A quick fiddle wit my knob and all is good...oooo errr misses.

Turns out when I was messing about with it before when it wouldn't start I'd wound the knob too far out. Runs alright now...not sure the neighbours r happy with how loud it is but they will have to put up wit it til I move

I had the db meter on it and safe to say Dave's right...it is bloody loud...108db loud in fact lol that's with the baffle in it too. Might have to look into doing something about that, maybe, hmmm nah lol if it doesn't pass the mot then ill look at putting a standard can back on til its passed.

Found a bit of a problem with my new zorst though. There is a crack in the manifold just after the pipes join together. Will get it welded up tomorrow, should stop some of the popping and banging on over run that seems to be happening so least that's another problem off the list

Watch the welding, the metal is actually stainless steel, but that makes it difficult to repair.
If you use ordinary rods it'll rust through quite quickly.
