You seem to be assuming everyone is way younger than you?

Although you are probably right that not everyone is old enough to have owned an early Gold Wing.

I have ridden bikes every day for a loooong time and know enough about breaking down..in the place I come from, there is , or was no breakdown service, you fixed it or pushed, a looong way.No mobile phones, no telephone boxes, no houses... I have had enough experience to not see breakdowns as a romanticised part of biking..look mum , my first breakdown..I'm a real biker now....I hope I have enough mechanical nous to make sure I dont break down, that's for amateurs and romancers.

Dad, did I say I was "very old"..nope, and also didnt throw any "pearls" that I know of, you are obviously of advanced years, along with this comes grumpyness which you seem to have developed leading to diatribe in your posting. I am so glad that your nous has got you through the breakdowns and hard times when houses didnt exist, it must have been tough as well without Alexander Grahame Bells inventions. I am also confused as to why you think that everyone is younger than I, anywaze bruv it no matter, no wot im speakin? i wish you well in your latter years, and im surprised that in your senior years you dont spot a wind up when you see one, thats assuming you have heard of spectacles, they have been around for some time now, it may enable you to see things more clearly, peace and love.
