Think I've seen that before, too much polishing for me. Looks like a lot of work has gone into it though...
I honestly think Daves will look better than that when he gets it done!!

sounds good to me mate, i'm just about to do a single exit exhaust myself.
by the way did you get the undertray/rear lights from the usa, if so are they any good, i was thinking of getting them myself.
you've done a top job on the bike mate, if you are going down the route of putting decals on, have a look at a fellow whose just joined in the welcome section called adamb.
he sounds like he knows his stuff..............

The zorst I swapped with Dave (ta buddy) and the rear light/undertail is a yank one. If I am perfectly honest the only thing I like about it is the look. The quality of he piece and the amount of lighti it.produces is pretty poor. If I break it I will probably replace it with a better known brand and one of the LED rear lights most other ppl go for.
Dave....It's been a time, money and misses issue mate lol Mot booked for Thursday so all being well, back on the road for next weekend. We can go granny scaring then if ya like?
Ps. How's the foot holding up? Is the misses 100% now?

foots ok, still not played football or squash on it since febuary when i broke it, been cycling instead as that's low impact and i have thetford forest on my door step and a nice 6 miles ride to work, but after a long day it does ache so i'm going to wait as i can't have it broken again!! touch wood.
kay is much better thanks, they never did find out what was wrong with her.
looking forward to a rideo out!! wonder how 2 people from different parts of the country wound up building very simular bikes at the same time lol!! strange!!

Good to hear about the foot and misses fella.
I thought I was going against the grain as far as the forum goes with what I was planning with mine. Just glad there is somebody else here with the same kind of ideas as me, just strange (like u say) about the timing of both projects.

I finally got my hugger, front mudguard and headlight cowl/fairing back from my mate who's spraying it for me.
Pic of me throwing them on...
Got my headlights set up and the beam pointing in the right direction. All the wiring connected and shrink wrapped behind the newly painted and fitted cowl...
Got a pic of the rear end and lights...
And here's a pic of the decals I had made...
Also got this one to go on the front cowl when I get chance
....and as I said in the "What have you...." thread. The old girl passed her test!!!!
Here is an up to date pic of her sat outside the test station waiting in anticipation of a fettle by the test man.
All in all a very busy week, she just needs a FCUKING GOOD CLEAN!!!!!
I'm still waiting for my belly pan to come back as we didn't have time to get that prepped and sprayed with the other bits so that's something else to look forward to. I think that and getting the wheels powdercoated white will finish off the look I'm after!
I did blow the end plate off the exhaust can when I went for a ride after the test lol so the next project on the cards will be fixing or replacing that
Let us know wot ya'll think
Nearly forgot....the Lincoln Autojumble is tomorrow, so me and the lad will be popping along to see if there are any deals to be had

Well done on getting it up & running fella. I like the way it has turned out, even if it is white! Those decals work well, nice variation on the hawk forum logo. Are you doing anything else with the paintwork? Nice airbrushed naked woman fighting a dragon, that's what you want. No, oh well back to the 70's.

Soooooooo....Got a couple of bits sorted out on the old girl so got a couple of pics to show.
As I said in a previous post I took the wheels off to get powder coated. Got them back last weekend along with a couple of other bits that I got sprayed.
Fitted it all on Monday night so I thought I better get a picture of it posted up here to see what you guys think now its almost as I want it to look.
Sorry the pics aren't the best but will get some better ones up as soon as I can
I'm actually really impressed with how the bike looks now the wheels and belly pan have been put on.
