Could someone remind me of which VFR bars fit?
I thought it was just early VFR750 bars,40mm?

The VTR fork legs (stanchions) are 41mm IIRC.

I think both VFR750 and VFR800 bars will work.

here's a link for you to read: viewtopic.php?p=409659

Chris.

Commando77 wrote: Sun Dec 11, 2022 3:38 pm Thanks. BTW that wasn't from Fleet/Crookham was it? Oct 2017 I looked at a 9000 mile example in blue with a funky alarm system that had to be switched each time it cranked. Can't be the same machine?
Bought it from a newish dealer in Farnborough...so could be the same one
Hasn't done many miles in the last 5 years for sure.

Yep, 41mm fit. Mine are VFR800FI bars.
The later VFR VTEC bars don't fit as they are 43mm

Split stainless exhaust clamps arrived...cheers Mac

Lots of Plusgas over a few days, then blow torch heat.....and the front nuts came off fine :D
Cut the old clamp off with a disk cutter.

Rear one is not too bad condition and hidden anyway, so I'll save that for later

Good job getting them done . So many people don’t take the time and snap the studs .

I saw your PM to me, but I can't reply by PM yet, as I don't have enough posts.

Anyway, yes go straight to battery from the RR with 12V and Ground. Put a 30A inline blade fuse in the 12V line...I use the maxi-blade type holder and fuse, as I've seen the strandard size blade fuse holders melt.

For the existing 12V / Ground bike connector that used to go to the old RR, just leave it taped up and tucked away.
No need to connect it to anything else.

You need to buy the 30A maxi blade fuse separately.
Plenty on Amazon though.
