How many fuel stops ?????????????

We didn't even take pictures of all of them.

We were probably averaging 80 miles between stops, so maybe 12 or so each way + 1 or 2 for twisty bits and detours.

At between 10 and 14 euros per stop - so probably 26 fill ups at 12.50 325 euros or about 230 quid.

At least another 150 quid on tolls, then + food + accomodation + beer + hookers and blackjack...

So it's not cheap. I budgetted and saved £750 for the trip and would possibly have run out of money if we weren't down one day sat in a garage.

So, next time budget is a grand a week or £150 a day which should comfortably cover everything.

I'm so going again though, we have so many plans it's not funny... it'll take years to bring them all to fruition.

Take an extra 2 or 3 days to do it, stay off the motorways and use campsites more. Should save plenty of pennies that way.

Of course, if Kitch had held back a bit on the nutella crepes he might have had enough left over for another holiday

Too many plans, not enough annual leave or cash

biggest hit to the budget that was

Actually, I didn't mean Blackjack the cardgame, I meant one of these:

And I didn't mean hookers, I meant rugby players, who we knocked unconcious with the blackjack and drew things on them in marker pen.
