Hi Andy, taking the A444 to Burton then the A511/A50 onto the A515 up to Ashbourne then across to Matlock Bath.
Could meet you at the first petrol station on the A5 off junction 1 M69 :?:

PS do you know where we are meeting in Matlock :?:

Given the impedingness of the event, heres a reminder on how to get to the meeting point....

For those coming in from the M56 or M61:

1.Take M60 Junction 3 onto the A34.
2.Go through the lights as you come onto the A34 from the motorway.
3.Take the 'Cheadle Royal' sliproad approx one mile up the A34.
4.Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout then bear left into the Sainsbury's.

We'll be on the petrol station forecourt from 9am!

I figure on hanging around half an hour to see who turns up, then heading on out. If anyone wants my mobile number, PM me and i'll send it to you.

It'll take us about half an hour to get to the 'Cat, we'll have half an hour for a swift brew and photoshoot then head on down to Matlock along the via Gellia road if its dry, if not we'll whip down the A6. That'll take us about 45 min max.

11.30am at the fishpond carpark at Matlock? You can justify fish and chips at that time!!! :D

REALLY looking forward to this!

So 11:30 at the Chippy in Matlock on Sat or Sun? Sorry but I thought we were meeting at Matlock? It looks like there is a meet for the West Pennine guys and gals then the main meet in Matlock is this right?

Way I understand it Beamish is i'll meet anyone coming down from the NW at 9am on Sunday and guide em' to Matlock for 11.30 to meet FSM, Zipper and anyone else from anywhere else who's coming along. We'll have some chips and get on from there! Where we'll end up, who knows?! :D

Looks like a prety poor showing from East of the Pennines 8O

Might have to give Oliver's Mount a miss just to make up the numbers 8)

That's if the Storm's re-assembled in time :?

Mike (FSM), if there's me and / or any others from this side, where do you want to meet?

Wooley services again?

Could do that mate! I'm up for anything (within reason and occasionally the boundaries of the law). Easy enough to do, then head out into the peak district from there.

If we head up the Cat from the Buxton side, there road's not great - its the Macclesfield side thats the business. Its easy enough to ride over, turn around and back up again - 8 miles and umpteen bends, me likee! :D. Alternatively we could link it in later in the ride after heading out towards Ladybower and the Snake Pass....

If anyone knows a suitable loop, don't keep it to yourself! I was banking on someone leading from Matlock!
