Why are the flags missing on the second or more page?

The little yellow flag up by the posted date and time.
I get it on the first page of new posts but not on the second and as it's supposed to, it's only there on the first time you look at a new thread. I'm not worried about it but if someone new the answer I was interested that was all.
More importantly. How're you feeling today? I noticed you mentioned you were pulling a sickky yesterday.
