Probably best to get it checked out as it's not cleared up after 5 wks Kaz. Hopefully the X-rays will show up what the exact problem is, then you can have the appropriate treatment to make you as good as new again :D

Good luck,

Chris.

I agree - doctors aren't the best at this sort of thing

Bummer Dooood!

Lots of light exercise, Kaz. Nothing heavy. Walking & slow stretches. Just take it easy & listen to your body. The old adage "no pain no gain" doesn't apply with the whole back & neck scenario.

Good luck Kaz, hopefully the physio will sort the prob once they decipher what the prob actually is, I am all for going private in cases of back injury, got to be worth the cash!

Hi Kaz!
Take it a bit easy 'old' girl. These things can be a bu**er.

Now don't start me on the NHS either. We are talking about the outfit that 1n 1978 literally let me work (I kept going back as it ached) for five months after a major bike 'off' with a broken neck. Yep. True. If I hadn't persisted with annoying them by going back who knows what could have happened. Only the fact that I had strong neck muscles from swimmimg that actually prevented serious damage. I even passed my car test like this with my neck creaking as I turned to look over my shoulder etc.

So, stick with it lass and don't get fobbed off. Be that proverbial PITA and you might get somewhere!! Hope you feel better soon.
Good Luck!!!

problem is tho.. I haven't got the cash to spend on even one session with a private physio/chiro :(
Fair one, good luck, I would lend you it but I wouldnt be able to afford to splash lunch for a church mouse at the mo.
