Thanks for the good wishes folks.

It was indeed my 60th on 8 Feb. Luckily we (my long term partner - i.e wife of 36 years) were in Tenrife, so got off fairly lightly I think :D

Hired a Honda transalp (only VTwin available). Riding 2 up on Tenerifs twisty narrow roads was total nightmare. OK one up and at speed, but low speed or coming to a halt needs either the strngth of Hercules or the balance of a tightrope walker (and I have neither!).

Back to the SP1 :lol: :lol:
and the freezing cold :(

And to fix the boys (34 year old sons) ZXR1100 gearbox - so I can get my SP1 back from him.
