What bike would amaze me after a storm?
What bike would amaze me after a storm?
Just wondering............................
Every time I get on my Storm, I;m amazed by it's pullnig power.
If I were to even contemplate changing it, what bike (after a storm) would blow my socks off?)

Sticking to a twin it would have to be the Aprillia RSV Factory or an SP, if straying into 4 pot territory any one of the latest thous would scare the shi** out of you (my try on the GSXR1000 was an eye openerTempest wrote:Just wondering............................

what bike
I would recomend the Ducati monster S4RS
999s motor will go like a train and brembo stoppers work like an anchor
Would have got one instead of storm after the 600 monnie i had but funds not available
all monsters are a peach to ride and look the badgers nadgers IMO

I have reverse paranoia I think i am following somebody
Many thanks for the replies.
Yeah, well, I guess it depends on HOW I think of power I guess.
To me, it's being able to open the throttle in 4rd, 4t, 5th and really feel the bike pull like crazy.
If I swapped my storm for a Inline-4 which may well have lots more top end power (very high revs) but lacked the low end grunt, then I'd feel disappointed as to me, it would not seem as powerful.
I guess, I don't feel that kinda high end power is of much use day to day, wheras low end grunt (torque) is what I want as it means lazy overtaking, and pulling away from the lights fast without revving like a boy racer.
Does any of this affect your recommendations?
The ZX12R idea keeps popping into my head again and again.

Which version do you have the original one (with the more sticky out air scoop) and the 220 clocks?Timbo wrote:Just bought the ZRX1200R and that has tons of torque, grunt and top end power to boot. Pulls like a train in 5th from about 30mph. It only needs 2 gears, 1st and 5thCould use a 6th too tbh.
Of the later one with the same scoop but 180 clocks.
Or the much later ones with the heavier cams and smoother power delivery?
