Hayfever!

Post by bob the builder »

Be carefull out there all you peeps who suffer from this!

Mate of mine desperate for a wee run yetserday, when i saw him at work in the morning he was bad with hayfever, called me up about 3 'ish and said all was better and he was ready for a wee blast.

OK then, on tight twisty roads betwen Perth and Pitlochry ( Daz, you know the road, across Moulin moor) approaching a right hander which i took at about 50, tree debris mid-corner Bob behind me moves left a bit, sneeze's and Yes you've guessed it!!

Soft verge, bike flip flops side to side, Bob does a lovely double sumersault over the bars, bike completely f***ed, Bob very sore but fortunatley OK.

Bob feeling like a complete tw@ for even contemplating riding when sneezing comes and goes like it does. Says he should have stopped when he felt it coming on.

Take care out there folks, the tree debris was from an overhanging branch hit by a high vehicle.

Safe summer riding.........not always!!

sh1t m8.. I know what you mean about the debris from trees. the A93 from perth to home.is littered with the crap.from Artics trimming the trees as they clatter along. you would think the councils would trim them back to the height of the damn things. had a nearly off last "summer" when i came across branches in the road, just outside bridge o cally, luckilly the ol Mille just ploughed through, tell your m8 to take an anti hystamine like piriton for the ol hayfever. but to watch out cos they can make you drowsey. Glad he is ok
bummer about the bike..
