Need a respray

Post by Seven Of Nine Firestorm »

After scowering the net i've finally got all the replacement panels now for a respray, but can't decide what scheme to undertake. Tempted to spray it myself and fix up some of the warn pannels. Virtually all the current pannels on the bike are cracked and dammaged, the lower belly pan i'm gonna strip the paint with the other fairings which i've got. But just can't decide on the scheme. I do hate the West logo on the bike, but love the black and silver and hate the graphics. So would a deaper silver say thunder grey metallic work for the already silver bits and just spray black the rest of the fairings. I'm not a fan of logo's nore graphics perfer the clean look if that makes sense.

^^^ as you can see its seen better days, is it also possible to do a single exhaust converson or is breathing easier with twins.
Won't be for a while yet as i'm sitll prepping things and sanding down pieces. Just after options.

See... eventually when I'm loaded I'm going the opposite... bodywork silver and powder coated black frame.

Kitch that would certainly be a interesting look have you tried to photoshop to see what it looks like. Seems like its gonna be the black and silver route for me + pollished alloy. I've started a bit to pollish it can just make it out on the right hand frame where the tax disc holder is along that section, just takes forever to do so........

I like the silver and black colour scheme myself, I think those two colours go together well. Not too sure about the curved line of silver meeting the black on the fairing sides though :!:
