I'm 41. Started riding at 16. Then discovered pubs MK1 escorts and capris. Passed my test first attempt at 23 and got my instructors licence at 26 passed my advance test at about 32.
Since selling the storm in February to buy my van this has been the longest I have been without a bike since passing my test.

44, first honda c70'off roader' when 11 never bin without out two wheels since. Had loads of offs, nearly lost right leg in one, good old basingstoke hospital saved it, most recently destroyed a cbr 600 on a bend no injury sustained, only bruises and pride.

I'm 42 and have never been without a bike since I was 16. Passed my test at 17. Did have a couple of mates who had Fizzies when I was 14 and had quite a bit of road experience when I eventually got my provisional license

Started riding at 16 - cus I had to to get to work. Rode bikes and raced 'em until I was 24 ish.
Got married, had kids, got mortgage, had older kids (the more expensive kind).
Got lucky. retired early with big cheque. Bought firestorm. Now 60 and still getting my leg over :)
She's my idea of beauty and thats what I ride.

Car licence 17 years clean. Bike licence just over a year and 3 points due to a sodding piggy. Didn't realise if you get 6 points within two years of passing a bike test you can loose it   .
