Satanic Christmas song

Post by adfski »

We were having a rather silly conversation in work the other day about making an evil Christmas song. Whilst giggling away we came up with black sabbath meets sleigh bells and lots of silly references to Santa being the 'Satan' of the skies.

So I got home and knocked this little tune up in a couple of hours.

Enjoy and be as 'Simon Cowell' as you like.

Have a good christmass and new year guys

Peace out from the isle of man.

hey adfski AKA DR Q thats really good, and you got a full recording studio in your gaff then, and not bad voiceing either, maybe you could do something along similar lines but about the VTR and we can adopt it as our forum anthem

LOVE the D man! If it reminds you of jack black I'm doing something right..

BTW I'm not Dr Q thats the name of the covers band I'm in but it was an easy way to get the song out to all my mates so I used the myspace player.

Excellent. I'll slip it in amongst all the usual stuff my wife listens to (like Allelujah (again and again), Il Divo etc etc). I think she'll really like it - not!

Its a bit like Saxon....

Yeah I played it all and it really was written as I went along. The end section with the solo was ad libbed - both guitar parts were one take.

The bass took three or four goes cos I had to learn what I had written.

Drums are a loop. They would be more interesting and more out of time if I did them live.

Wrote the first verse stopped the recording then wrote the second verse and finished it. Its an antidote to overproduced - self important record industry shite basically. Glad you fellas are enjoying it.

The boys in the band seem to enjoy it so we're going to have a go on the 27th in the creek! (quite literally without a paddle!)

Will put some other stuff up soon.
