best of luck on the rebuild mate, been there twice now, best tip i can give is take your time, if it dont look right, walk away, have a brew and come back to it.
beides, you get a lot of self satisfaction and pride when it's all done.

post pics on progress mate

Why not use the picture on the front of the Haynes manual as a guide?

As long as it looks something like the one in the picture when you've finished, you've cracked it!*

And if it runs and goes along under it's own power, why, so much the better!

*the colour might be different, though.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

well spent sat and sun on her and just got the airbox clocks lights exhaust tank and all plastics to put back now.

need a little advice on the carb pipes though
got the 2 main fuel pipes.
the drain and breather hoses
but there is 1 more pipe am not to sure about. if u sit on bike and look were the left fuel intake pipe connects to carb there is another pipe coming out of the connector and i dont now were it goes.
also in the manual it says there is one pipe that goes from carbs to water pump is this true. can be found on page 4.6 in the manual top middle picture or am i reading it wrong.

thanks

The carbs are attached to the cooling system as this helps to stop carb icing when it's cold. So I would imagine what is said in the manual to be correct :!:

cheers mate it was right.
she started after a couple of mins turning over and she sounds brilliant even better than before and the flames out the art cans are still there.
