Spark plug socket help/advice needed

Post by bigfatbloke-71 »

My Firestorm has no toolkit :( and I want to change the plugs

I bought a size 12 plug spanner, but this does not fir down the barrel.

What do I need to buy to get the plugs in and out. Would rather use a socket and my torque wrench as I am a cack handed git with a tendency to over tighten everything.

HELP :!:

I use an XR400 plug spanner, fits downd the head and has a hex on the end you can put a socket over, then your torque wrenchImage

Sorted - got a T spanner malarky from Halford for £4.99 - fits the rear, have not tried the front yet but I have high hopes.

And thanks for the kind offer Jonesy
