This looks a good buy - 1 man tent

Post by bikerpiker »

This looks good ,at £17.99 ,and it's tiny :!:

Also it's quite waterproof with a hydrostatic head of 2000mm,..it's just a 1-man though.....so it's no good if your thinking you might get lucky

Seems like a good value piece of kit. Better than mine!
I use a one person tent from Lidls (surprised? Nah, didn't think so) that folds up to just over a 600mm long and cost 6.99 so OK for the price!

I've got a 1 maner too. Mines a Coleman. Very good qaulity.

I'd agree with Mike though-space is at a premium! Depends where you're going and what you're doing!

Yup , i totally agree a 2 man is best , ...though that is good value for a 2000mm hydrostatic head, usually for that price you get 1200mm or 1500mm. :)

Well I have a single skin................... but the tent has an inner liner too with a raised vented and covered top section too. Crazy price but great for a w/e trip for just sleeping away. Don't expect to get your cooking done in it though!!!

Very much like this one, only much smaller of course!

The power of suggestion!

Having followed the links to the GS site, and other hiking sites, I got tempted, and I just got the last one from the local Argos.

looks great, and other camping reviews realy rate them, even before they are dropped to 1/2 price. Now I am thinking of where or when to use it.

Nothing to do with tents but this ride report from the GS site is worth reading,

Girls, Bikes and the IOM, I think I'm in love, not telling with who though.
Reading about all these adventure trips has got me hankering after a big trailie only thing thats stopping me is how well they hold their money.
They didn't try this lane on their trip

I wonder why?
