Winter,s Fast Approaching

Post by pariah »

Well it,s here. The cold dark winter nights. This is my contribution to keeping me safe and seen at night plus a small reminder for car drivers
The bag was a simple Hi Viz yellow one when purchased. The graphics were made and bought to suit the size of the bag. Stuck to bag then drawn around, graphics removed and completed with a permament marker pen.Image

Nice idea.

They still won't see it.

Like Ogri says,
it's because they weren't bloody looking!
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Well if they do still manage to run into me at least they can not use the lame excuse of I didnt see him.

Plus if I can manage to make a few people every day to be aware of bikes , then all good and well.

I'm sure I replied to this before :eh:

I think that's a good idea too, you can only try to be more visible and hope it works.

Chris.

PS What we really need is a flashing a blue light, most people on the road don't miss that

My Local Council were giving away free dayglo rucksack covers last winter.
I managed to obtain half a dozen for the cyclists in work and had one away for myself too :biggrin
I'll be the first to admit they are not the most fashion grabbing of accessories but that's not the point is it?
+1 for the local council though

This was bought from a place called The Range here In Kidderminster. I think It was about 8 pounds.

I'm with Tony

Statistically speaking you'd have to wear it back to front! No harm though. Maybe in a few years, motorcyclists (as opposed to bikers  ) might sell their rear end to advertisers.

Aye, now it is (winter) - when the toes get a bit cool and ye need tae wear a thicker tee under the leather. That said, the Storm is imperious in the cold! Now I've flitted to Houghton Regis I've been tearing up and down a few thin dry lines on the M1 many a day and the Storm (mine at least) pumps a wicked cruising rhythm. And michty me, Beds has some wicked roads on which to play. On that, I'd wrap up with...

Wool.
