Might be worth asking your insurer, they often have a tie-up deal which seems to be quite cheap.

I haggle with my insurer, get them to throw breakdown and Europe-wide insurance and breakdown in free.

They did it once, and now I just insist (after I've screwed the quote down with a price-match) that they do it again.

You could really only do this at renewal, in all likelihood.
But they might be able to do something, it's usually a free call to them so what have you got to lose?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Hi Guys,

It might be worth checking with your bank, I'm with Lloyds and part of my package is AA breakdown cover that will transport my vehicle anywhere, i.e garage, home, or in case of accident, hire car and hotel until hire car sorted.

I have cover with IC. Only had to use them once, and they were spot on. Came within 40 minutes, had a bike trailer (unlike bloody RAC that insisted on sending a van with no bike trailer even though I told them that I would need recovering). Based on that I would recommend them.
