Bad news- there'll be a mountain of washing up and ironing waiting for you when you get back........

Hope she's ok, though.

Did you lose the use of your arm for a while and if so for how long? I am pretty worried as the doctors seem to be worried

Thanks for your kind words, BH I hope your right but it seems as though the specialist feels that there are serious complications :confused Suppose we will have to suck it and see.

There's a card in the local telephone box offering something like that.

Seems a bit pricy, mind.

When I dislocated my colar bone after writing off my first Storm my arm wouldn't work, I could move my hand and bend the elbow but couldn't raise my arm at all. If I'd put a sheet of paper under my arm I couldn't riase it enought to let it drop out. The impact had damaged the rotator cuff and all the muscles acrross the shoulder and round the shoulder blade. With a good physio and a lot of hard work I managed to get back to the fire station in about 12 weeks. The total time spent working with the physio was over 9 months.
With certain muscles in the shoulder if they are injured they "switch off" to protect themseles if injured. The gental start with the physio is to kick start them into working again.
I hope my waffle helps
Paul
