hi there,

well, just changed my front wheel bearings, no problem, i get the bearing on line, so cheap the seals too...£1.70 for a seal....wow....

Hi,

Just to add, if you are going to source your wheel bearings from anywhere other than Honda, make sure you buy a good quality make ( Koyo, SKF ) they only cost a couple of quid more than the cheap chinese ones. :wink:

Also be aware of some of the 'wheel bearing kits' available on line, I have yet to see one with a decent bearing in it.

I have a fleet of quad bikes and have first hand experience of cheaper bearings, they can collapse without warning and on a quad the wheel usually falls off ! :eek2 The better bearings will of course fail eventually, but its a gradual process with plenty of warning.
