cct should i change it

hi all,
have bought a 97 firestorm with 32000 kmh,,20000 miles was told the cct on the front pot is prone to giving up the will to live,is this true,should i change it or leave alone,,,anyone have any feedback on this..ta doug

yes change it, too many bad luck stories from people who decided to risk it..............just read some of thepost in workshop

Fit the stopper mod to the ones you have, and you will have peace of mind for about 50p cost!

Again do a search in theknowledge base section of workshop, all will be clear.

Do the stopper mod to them both, it is only a little extra effort when you have the tank off, and you have made the key to lock the CCT, so just doing the second one is only an extra 30 mins effort. Also, although it is mostly teh front that will go but there are some reports of the back going.
