yeh i had the m6029 on mine and they are superb for the price.
not the best in the wet like, but what are, unless you buy dedicated wet tyres - just don't ride like rossi when it's raining.
i found they handled very well, got just under 4k from the rear which isn't bad considering how i ride.
i reckon they'd have lasted longer if i hadn't done so much motorway riding.

you can pick a pair up for 120 or so if you shop around, but saying that, if you look around for pair deals, you can get a pair of almost anything for less than 150

Pirelli Diablo's £82.50 ride in/out all included. Cant complain about that. Fronts are £70. Maxxis no good for winter riding.

I rate the Avon Storms as well, although I've not yet tried the Ultra 2's.

i had avon vipers, storms and storm ultra 2s. The vipers were brilliant but wore out within 2k storms were very good went to 3.5k and the ultra 2s done about 1k before benny hedges took the zxr and they were as good as new they were the best tyre i've ridden on and vipers and storms have a puncture garrentee (first 500 miles)

I can thoroughly reccomend the Avon Storm Ultras. Last weekend I spent 4 hrs watching my friends Hayasuicide smear the rear tyre on some very wet and slippy Linclnshire roads. He has already done 2500 miles on them during a European tour with the missus on the back and they still look incredible, he is also one of the quickest riders I have the pleasure of knowing so for his tyres to last like that on a Busa :eek2 Incredible. Buy some
