Exhaust collector seals

Post by parkergb6 »

Chaps,
Does anyone know the dimensions for the exhaust seals used to connect the downpipe to the silencer underneath the engine. Can't seem to find anyone selling model specific ones just ones with dimensions listed.
I think it may be 48.5x43x20mm.
Thanks In Advance

If you need a quick fix, cut some emery cloth to size wrap it round the end of the down pipe a couple of times, do the clamps up, ignor the smell the first time you ride, job done.
6k after this quick fix and it was still fine when the dealer bought it off me!

it's this you want.

48.5x2.5x20 they are, like a graphite material.
but get 2 cos chances are the other 1 is fkt as well.

cmsnl is cheapest by far. honda charged me a tenner :Argue 1:

that's a honda part btw from cmsnl, with same honda part number as i got.
i'd send you 1 of mine but with the post the way it is, youd be as well trying a few local dealers.
just on the off chance, try quickfit or another local exhaust fitter.

Benny,
I ordered these from CMSL for 6 euros but the buggers took payment before telling me postage cost.
Can you remember how much you paid for postage on yours.
Cheers
