Hello from South Wales

Post by kneelee »

Hi all, I was hoping to find a forum for this bike as my last bike was a CBF1000 and I was a member of there forum. Not sure what the VTR1000 is like as I brought mine a few weeks ago and it was delivered straight into my garage where it has stayed. Its a mint condition and the road outside is full of salt. It's doing my nut in not trying it
I'm based near the Black Mountain with those great roads all around me :D Anyone else on here near me?

Hi, mate.
Get out there, just get home with enough time to throw a bucket of water and a squirt of preservative oil at it.
It's a Honda, salt's not a problem.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

empty a tin of furniture polish over it & let it dry before you take it out,
obviously keep it off the discs & seat unless you want crushed nuts!
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Ah yes, that old trick... when I was 17 I had a Honda Superdream and I used Mr Sheen on the seat. I did crush my nuts.
