I renewed my insurance with Tesco last week. The last question I asked before paying HAVE I GO THE SAME COVER AS LAST YEAR. Answer YES
Last year I was covered 3rd party on other cars not owned by me. I drove my mother in laws car yesterday. Got me new documents today. NOT COVERED 3RD PARTY ON OTHER VEHICLES
I have just gone "APE" on the phone to tesco because 1) they have not sold me the same policy 2) becuase they left me driving un insured
Having been the victim of an uninsured driver (hospital,3 month off work and 9.5 month physio) I'm realy peed off!
CHECK YOU ARE INSURED!!! More and more companies are dropping driving other vehicles

Thanks for the heads-up Paul. A good job you found out by checking the details, and not the hard way.

Don't forget if you get stopped with no insurance mistake or not your vehicle will be seized at the roadside and you will be charged £150 + £20 per day storage plus the registered keeper will need to attend with Drivers licence valid insurance MOT and log book before it will be released. Oh and theres a £200 fixed penalty ticket and 6 points.
So like the man said check before you drive.

I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.
