Twitter feed of my "restoration"

Post by vtryorks »

I wanted to document my adventures as a novice at mechanical stuff, so I decided to twitter it. Maybe it could be of some use to someone and perhaps someone reads it and finds there way here too :)

I'd post directly to the forum but its hard to do via mobile.

Admins...if I'm out of line mentioning a twitter feed here, I apologise and please remove this post. I did include an advert for the forums though, again, I hope this is ok...PM if not and I will remove.

Would you not be better setting up a blog mate??

http://www.blogger.com It will give you more space to describe exactly what you are doing and visually its easier to look at as well. It might be difficult to explain exactly what you are doing in 140 characters and pictures can be added to the page too rather than having to link elsewhere..

Thought about it but twitter is snappy. I dont have the knowledge to do very much in terms of explanations. I'll cram in as much detail as I can but most content will come when I'm actually doing the work, so being able to easily update via mobile is going to be better. Cant type much with oily hands hehe

It documents it for me really, same applies to blogs. But over time, maybe people will find my feed when searching for things. Just a self improvement thing but if it helps anyone else, thats great :)
