Peace Of Mind

Post by uptonpark64 »

at last the paranoia is over, owned my storm just over a year and today put a set of manual cct's in, bought a set off ebay off phil pont for sixty, gaskets off david silver, and got a local garage in leamington to swap them as i didnt feel confident, all in all, is £150 worth peace of mind? to bloody right.
so if anybody wants an original set to mod, pm me

Good job done...

The same here… except I’m tight with the folding and changed them myself, just the other day. I also reused one salvaged gasket and made another from a brown envelope. As they say ‘necessity is the mother of invention’, although I seem to remember that such things were normal and quite acceptable back when Adam was a lad…

Ride on... :plainsmile

(sigh) once more unto the breach....
No, you don't need gaskets, just a smear of silicon sealer.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
