VTR Frame Question

Is there any difference between the earlier and later firestorm frames? specifically from 1998 to 2003?

to my knowledge they are exactly the same, hence some people after an accident like to put a newer frame on there bike so it increases there value, although there are lots of tell tale signs/differences between the older and newer versions. clocks, decals, colour of the engine casings, 19ltr fuel tank and a few other bits.
