Modified CBR600 Shock

Post by seb421 »

a while ago i was toying with the idea of getting this before i got the fairings

http://www.ebay.com/itm/180767299532?it ... 23&vxp=mtr

Looked good, asked the seller about it and he said it was from a CBR600

Now you can pick a CBR600 shock of the same year up for not a lot of money, would it be difficult to make one of these up from a storm item?

There is a chap on the Superhawk forum (Jamie Daugherty) who offers this service. He modifies CBR600F4i shocks to fit the VTR. Those who have bought them from him have reported very good results. He lengthens them, re-valves them and fits the proper spring for your weight, all for a fairly low price.
