2 questions.

Post by Jester666 »

1. Is the sidelight/running light/3rd eye a T10?

and

2. I know the carbs on the 'Storm are a teeny bit on the big size 8O but what size are they? 45mm?

Cheers

yes and 48mm

So if you buy four t10's you have three for the clocks and one for the sidelight.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

i thought i read somewhere they were 52mm. might be wrong though? i also read that they are the largest carbs honda ever used in production. guess that why the old storm likes petrol so much

think you're thinking of the TL1000 there.... 52mm throttle bodies....
yes, i thought the same  would be nice. unfortunately not that simple. :?

the early varaderos used a 45mm version of the same carbs, then went to fi.
what would be interesting would be taking a varadero bottom end with all the required senders & sensors, and all the fi gubbins, but use the 52mm TL1000 throttle bodies....
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

what power you think is possible?

Would be fantastic to have a Duel mapped Fi engine in the storm, one commute mate and one go mental map
