My new ride (SP1)

Post by JohnD »

As some of you may know, I recently sold my trusty '97 Firestorm of 5 years to get an SP1.... well here she is:

Have only had her a week, and have only been out a couple of times (cos it's been freezing and/or snowing), but I can tell you that she is awesome, and I now know I made the right decision (as I was initially reluctant to sell my Storm).

I won't disappear from this forum, cos it's a great place, and besides, I'm still on a Honda VTR eh :)

Will have a few Storm bits n bobs up for sale when I get a moment too.

cheers

John

hot dam! they are nice arnt they. yours looks a beauty.

when you have had a chance to get some miles in let us know how what living with one is like compared with the storm. i know they handle better and are quicker etc but would be interested what they are like to own and run compared to the storm overall.

wish i could have one of each . would,nt mind one of those triumph daytona 675,s as well. and several others spring to mind

Yep it's the euro import version, hence the colour scheme.

Got it for a great price, from an honest seller (got all the right vibes from him if you know what I mean): 18,000 miles, FSH, first registered 2003, bike is near mint - it's certainly been looked after very well during it's lifetime.

Am very happy with it - would have loved to keep the Storm too, but I couldn't possibly justify it!

Beautiful bike , looks like new, bit of dirt on the front tyre though, 8O.
I'd love a spin on an SP1/2 to compare with the Firestorm. Are there similarities or are they like completely different bikes to ride?
