another newbie here

Post by spider13 »

hi all fellow vtr nuts,im just in the process of buying a vtr1000 firestorm, this will be my first vtr and im quite looking forward to getting it asap, been around bikes all my life and i think ive owned most on the market from cruisers to sports and ive always liked the v twins especialy
the bike im buying has all the goodies on it so no spending there which is always a bonus,i think the only thing ill be doinf is to use manual ccts but no rush due to the previous owner having had new ccts and chains fitted around 3k ago
so looking forward to some good weather well at some point anyway
cheers steve

Welcome aboard buddy, though if you read enough posts you will realise that ccts can go at any time

Best change them, Bazza on here does a set

+1 on the cct's, get them donee sooner rather than later, its this time of year when bikes are coming out of hibernation that the bad news stories start appearing :(
have a good read of the workshop section to sort out any problems
