Yet another FNG!

Post by graemec »

Hello all,
Had my 2000 `Storm for a few years now but it has done nothing in the past 2 years, following the death of a friend on his. Finally got the bit between my teeth and decided to get back in the saddle, had a few wee problems with it which I`m attempting to sort out myself, with the help of Mr Haynes Manual!, and have posted a queery about the starter. Anway looking forward to the summer back on the beast :cool2, take it easy  graemec

Welcome aboard graemec

If you're doing anything involving the valve timing use our guide in "The Workshop Knowledgebase" as it's been tried and tested many times over and it works.

Chris.

Re Sirch's post above, trust our forum's version of how to set valve timing rather than the Haynes....
And welcome.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I can vouch for this, first time followed i the Haynes and made a boob of it to say the least.
