What size

Post by chris vtr virgin »

Hi all looking for a quick answer.
Thinking of changing my bars to VFR clip ons to make a bit more upright
Found a set but but the guy reakons they are 37mm.
But i think i need 41mm
Which is correct
Also do you need to trim fairing or anything else.
Cheers
Chris

41mm diameter is the correct size for Firestorm forks. Some say you do need to trim the fairing for VFR bars, while others don't. I think the problem arises when turning the steering on full lock either way. The switch gear touches the fairing.

Yep I have a set on my storm and the pass switch on left hand switch gear touches on full lock, tried to adjust, but just live with it now
