What would a respray cost?

Post by Murv »

I know there'a a lot of variables etc, but does anyone know, very roughly, what a ballpark figure would be to change the colour of a bike?

£400 if you do all the prep work yourself lol and if it's only one colour paint job .
Candy paint will cost lots more :)
But if you have it done in yellow I think they pay you lol

Seriously, that was the perfect answer. I had no idea if it would be £100.00 or £1000.00 so it gives me a good idea.

I'm only interested as my bike is a bit of a handful at the moment so I'm seriously thinking of respraying it as some point to Red to calm it down a bit

Lipstick paint and polish used to look after my FZR600, it went in smashed and came out looking brand new the first time it went. He used to be based in Gallows corner and done work for private race teams, if I remember correctly.

Not sure how much but a repsol job on my CB900F Hornet was going to cost around £500.

Very highly recommended.

I think hes based in Brentwood now.

When i asked dream machine they wanted £1000 to do the repsol rep job, hence getting a new set from china for 300 and the tank painted separate

The lads at BMC didn't believe me that they was from china at first, they was well impressed with them.

shame they don't do a tank cover that would have been the icing on the cake
