been busy lately but starting to get somewhere with the vtr.two of the engine mounting adjuster bolts were seized quite badly,got them out tonight,the muppet who gave me the bike has lost half the bolts and adjusters,not impressed,must ring around tomorrow to see if i can get them locally,engine is nicely reshimmed,front cylinder was a long way out.i bought a complete valve shim kit for 57 euro recently,some comparison when i rang the local honda dealer,they wanted 10 euro per shim....in the quiet words of the virgin mary...come again?

#1 in the bottom of the carburettor slides there is two holes in my case,is this a standard setup or is it a sign of dynojetting? i remember jetting my zzr and i had to drill an extra hole
#2 the main jet sizes are 175's in my bikes,is this standard? going from what ive searched here,people are running 180's

yep 2 holes in the slides and 175 mains is standard

right then thats as standard setup;) and that same guy told me he jetted it...ah well ill get it going first before i sort it out.cheers man
