bonjour

Post by humberty »

hi,

I am BB , french block living in this the midlands (south Derbyshre) since 2006 which I first came with a 600 Hornet F3. I solde it 3 years ago (baby was on its way) at that time. All my neighbors have bike and now I miss the sound vibration and acceleration. I always wanted a bike that was good at everything usable on street (not screeming 4pots) relatively comfi for a duo and reliable.

I desesperately seeking for a VTR 1000 firestorm to enjoy occasionally (yes I have to drop the little one at nursery)

I'll probably asking some questions and ending buying one, my target is by the end of the year.

Ideally a 2001 onward, colour doesn't matter and mileage is only as important as the maintenance being done.

Oh yes forgot to mention, once I've got it would be good to attend any meeting.

See you soon V

Salut, bon chance on finding a storm beastie, when you do post some pics.

With a decent sized tank bag you can carry just about anything inc. chats et petit enfants!

You haven't lived until you've fallen off a high revving unsilenced 250 two stroke, ended up at the bottom of a goo filled ditch with the bike laying on top of you and thought "How the hell did that happen?"

!00% true even worth when you are in a big muddy hole up to your knees but if you do it with friends it is a big laugh and worse it
Additionaly don't use hard braking on the front on wet tarmac ...... it hurts

Looks good, what's the box on the LH grip, heated grip controller?

And most importantly, have the CCT's been done?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

nice and clean for its age, socttoiler, heated grips, double bubble screen, hugger, wavey discs and cans already fitted

you just need to check the CCTs and the reg/rec, then see if the forks have been resprung and a spacer fitted under rear shock.............oh and get out and ride it :D

just spotted it has bar rizers fitted as well, so that is another £40 mod you have for free
