Seat cowl and seat help

Post by Vtrf3v3r »

As my wife does ride with me on the firestorm I am interested in getting a seat cowl to increase the cosmetic appearance. Does anyone know a good single seat I.e. comfy, I should buy to go with the cowl. Or do I even need to switch the stock seat out. Thanks for any help.

you've lost me, the standard seat is pretty good for yourself and a pillion, a single seat cowl would make the bike no good for pillions. are you asking for the seat cowl for when you don't have a pillion passenger?
if so they pop up on ebay all the time.
or are you asking about seat pads for example gel pads? to help with pillion comfort?
or theres companies which will re-trim your original seat to make it more comfy for both of you....

I have the seat that has the connected pillion as was stock in 1998. Does the cowl snap over the pillion or do you have to get a different seat all together?

The rear cover just pops on or off depending whether you require the solo seat look or dual seat.

Shhh, the colour that dare not speak it's name!!! It should always be referred to as blue/green to make it sound socially acceptable. It disquises the sheer horror of the real colour!!!

That fantastically ludicrously fast colour so often mistakenly referenced as teal is officially known as Jerez Blue Metallic!

The Bluey green colour is Teal/Jerez blue, the Blade behind and late model Storms are Candy Tahitian blue. There is also a very dark blue as well but I don't know what they called that? cue predictable answers from owners of Black/Red/Yellow or combinations of these!

I could say Dark Blue but actually it's Lapis Blue Metallic (PB-257M) There's also three different Blacks.

As you know, mine's yellow, but before I bought it I was looking at some other colours.

I know everyone knocks Teal, but I have a soft spot for it, myself.
