FIM World Trials Championship

Post by jono49 »

Due to the uncertain weather every weekend for the last two months!....I decided to play it safe today and armed with sturdy boots, and an umbrella, I headed for the "World Trials Championships today Near Penrith.....Having never attended a Trials meet before I was pleasantly surprised how close you get to everything including the riders! Or should I say riding God's    these guy's are amazing! totally on another planet skills wise!........A very humbling experience indeed, I would recommend anyone having a look at the british round next year wherever it may be

I agree, I became converted to Trials about 3 yrs ago and went to the world round at Hawkstone park, and the indoor at Shefield..........un fecking believeable.......Tony Bou has moved the game on so far, you need to see the lesser sriders do the same sections to appreciate how easy he makes it look.

and that reminds me, I am entered in a 2 day trial down in Devon this weekend and I havnt even started my trials bike, let alone ridden it all summer! that will be a painful re training I fear!

The course was set out by Graham Jarvis who's an absolute loon.........But fookin awsome!!!! here he is Playin himself on his "Husaberg Enduro" bike !!!

never knew Husaberg did 2 strokes, but on closer inspection it looks like a KTM with a husaberg sticker kit.........and as KTM own Husaberg I guess its all in the family

Yup Defo 2-stroke  Interesting that the Montesa/Honda that Tony Bou and his team mate Takahisa Fujinami were riding were powered by 4-strokes!
