Eastern Beaver

Post by Jez1970 »

Hello,
After a few weeks of getting used to the bike there are a couple of things I want to get sorted and would appreciate some advice please.
I need to improve the headlight - I assume Honda believe their bikes are not ridden at night along unlit roads. I would like to fit an Eastern Beaver kit and then perhaps a 55/100W bulb. I'm looking at the fairing mount option with PosiLock connectors. Prior to me ordering it I wondered whether anyone has any recommendations or advice with regards the kit or for fitment of the relays.

Thanks in advance.

Jez,
it is a good option for the lights, and I also reccomend sorting the forks with stronger springs and bettwer oil so the dont dive so much. Nothing worse than braking for a bend at night and then only being able to see 10yds infront of your front wheel.

Regarding the relay kit, I have mine mounted under the clocks on the fairing bracket with a cable tie, I did have them fitted in the fairing but as they were upside down they collected water [started to corrode], and you also have to remove them when you take the fairing off, so it is much easier to mount them off the brackets that stay on the bike.

Mine are direct wired to the battery and just plugged into the old lamp connector but the posilocks look a nice solution if you want it realy tidy
