Another new VTR ower!!

Post by scrowe »

Hello to all.

I'm new to vtr's as i've had mine for 4 days days now.

I've had parallel twins, inline 4's, v 4's so i thought id have a go at V-twins. As i a fan of Honda's in general it was a no brainer really! VTR all the way (allthough the Aprilia Falco nearly had me :shh: ) as i love the looks and sound (especially with the Blue Flame pipes). No way was an SV or TL going in my garage!!

As and when i figure out the how to's on here I'll wang up some pics.

CHEERS!! :D

welcome to the club, great bikes and lots of fun.

look in the workshop knowledge base section for the key jobs you need to do and after than you can start modding it till you have doubled what you spent on the bike and still want more

Welcome chap. I'm relatively new to the VTR myself and have to say that it's an awesome machine.

I must also have to give a shout out to this forum which is home to some fabulous characters and a source of great advice if ever you need it. I'd steer clear of the sales and wants thread though. Never anything on there worth buying. Honest... seriously... don't bother.

Welcome aboard scrowe

CCT's and the rectifier are the weak points on the VTR,
