Have you made your own shock tube?

They're a bit expensive for what they are. Has anyone made their own?

£20?
(the SP1 version fits fine, and so will almost any other shock tube- just get the cheapest on Eblag.)

An arm from an old wetsuit?
But that would need the shock mount removing to slip it over....

Any way, it's cheaper than buying a new spring as yours is rusty and chipped.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
